Health Assessment & Taster Sessions

Total Wellbeing understands the need to reassure yourself that you are making the right choice when choosing a personal trainer, wellbeing package or class. Our Taster Sessions and Assessments offer you the ability to try a Personal Training Session or Class before committing to a long term investment of both time and money.

45 Minute Health Assessments:

The assessment is carried out to give the starting point that can be used to give the fitness programme suitable to your current fitness level. Ongoing assessments could be carried out and monitored to help redesign the fitness programme, measure progress and improvements and keep you on track to reach your health and fitness goals. The tests are optional but highly recommended as they will help us design a comprehensive training plan, establish a benchmark in order to track your progression and potentially reveal any underlying health issues you may have.

The assessments carried out include:

  • Height and Weight
  • Body Mass Index (BMI) and Body Composition (Bodyfat %)
  • Peak Flow (Lung Power)
  • Predicted VO2 Max (Lung Capacity) * dependent on training environment
  • Circumferential measurements
  • Waist to Hip Ratio (WHR)
  • Postural Assessments
  • Flexibility
  • Strength testing
  • Total Cholesterol and Blood Glucose * on request

Full assessments with results all for £10.

 30 Minute Taster Personal Training Session:

It is important that you feel at ease and comfortable with your personal trainer and in this 30minute taster session we will take you through a condensed session so that you can see how a session is put together and the benefits that a personal training session could have to you.
